No account. No health profile.
Privacy by absence.
The simplest way to protect sensitive answers is not to collect them. This policy explains what stays in your browser, what limited technical data other services may receive, and what happens if you contact us.

Questionnaire answers
Your body-area choice, safety answers, preferences, and routine progress stay in session storage in your browser tab. They are not sent to an application database. This allows you to refresh or change language without restarting while the tab session remains available.
New safety answers are not added to URLs. Older guide links may contain answers; the site reads and removes those query values before loading analytics. The original request may still appear in hosting logs or existing browser history. Start over clears the current routine answers. If session storage is unavailable, progress lasts only until you leave or refresh the page.
Browser features
The theme preference may be saved in your browser so the site can remember whether you chose light or dark mode. This setting does not contain health information.
Optional voice guidance uses the browser’s built-in speech synthesis feature. stretchesfor does not record your voice, request microphone access, or send questionnaire text to its own backend.
Exercise media and third parties
Exercise pages use local illustrations or supplied media files. They do not automatically query Wger or ExerciseDB. Written guidance remains available when media is absent or fails to load.
Like any direct web request, the media or infrastructure provider may receive basic technical details such as your IP address, browser information, and request time. Their handling of this information is governed by their own policies.
Analytics, advertising, and cookies
The site uses Google Analytics to understand general site use. Guide events record only generic milestones, such as starting or finishing a routine. The site does not intentionally send questionnaire answers, symptom choices, or personal routine details to analytics, and removes query strings from the page location it supplies. Google Analytics may use cookies and receive technical data such as browser and device information. There are no user accounts or medical records.
Hosting logs
Hosting logs may include requested paths and query strings. Legacy guide links may contain answers; new guide answers stay in the browser tab. Opening an exercise or area link can still reveal the page you requested to the hosting provider.
Email contact
If you email us, we receive the address, message, and other information you choose to include. Email is not an appropriate place for sensitive medical information, so please do not send symptoms, diagnoses, medical records, or other health details. Messages may be retained as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
Your choices
- You can use the educational content without creating an account.
- You can decline optional voice guidance and still use the exercise instructions.
- A new guide URL does not share your answers. Avoid sharing older links that contain questionnaire choices.
- You can use “Start over” for a clean current URL and clear earlier guide URLs with your browser’s history controls.
- You can clear the saved theme preference through your browser’s site-data controls.
- You can avoid sending personal information by not contacting us by email.
Changes and questions
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised date before new collection begins. For privacy questions, email hello@stretchesfor.com.
