Privacy by absence.
The simplest way to protect sensitive answers is not to collect them. This policy explains what stays in your browser, what limited technical data other services may receive, and what happens if you contact us.

Questionnaire answers
Your body-area choice and questionnaire answers exist only in the current page’s memory. They are not sent to an API, written to a database, placed in the URL, or saved in browser storage. Refreshing or closing the page clears them.
Browser features
The theme preference may be saved in your browser so the site can remember whether you chose light or dark mode. This setting does not contain health information.
Optional voice guidance uses the browser’s built-in speech synthesis feature. StretchesFor does not record your voice, request microphone access, or send questionnaire text to its own backend.
Exercise media and third parties
When you open an exercise, your browser may request demonstration metadata or media from Wger, ExerciseDB, or StretchesFor’s first-party media domain. Each request contains only a reviewed exercise identifier or an immutable media path—never your body-area choice, questionnaire answers, symptoms, safety result, timer state, or voice setting.
Like any direct web request, the media or infrastructure provider may receive basic technical details such as your IP address, browser information, and request time. Their handling of this information is governed by their own policies.
Analytics, advertising, and cookies
This version does not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural tracking, or marketing cookies. There are no user accounts, saved routines, or medical records.
Hosting logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may process basic technical request logs for security, abuse prevention, and reliable delivery. StretchesFor does not combine those logs with questionnaire answers because questionnaire answers never leave the browser.
Email contact
If you email us, we receive the address, message, and other information you choose to include. Email is not an appropriate place for sensitive medical information, so please do not send symptoms, diagnoses, medical records, or other health details. Messages may be retained as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
Your choices
- You can use the educational content without creating an account.
- You can decline optional voice guidance and still use the exercise instructions.
- You can clear the saved theme preference through your browser’s site-data controls.
- You can avoid sending personal information by not contacting us by email.
Changes and questions
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised date before new collection begins. For privacy questions, email hello@stretchesfor.com.
